Fitzroy – you guys really have to visit the smallest district of Melbourne. You can find Fitzroy in the north of downtown. When I was there it really felt like a mix of Berlin and London. You love second hand and authentic cafés? Then you have to visit this cute and edgy district.
I walked down Brunswick Street where I found a lot of cute cafés, shops and restaurants. Additionally you can find some second hand shops and bars.
Here you can find asian, greek and moroccan restaurants. You love to eat organic or vegetarian? Here you will definitely find something for less money.
Desire for a little bit of Spain? In Johnston Street there are a lot of tapas and flamenco bars.
In Gertrude Street you can find fashion, art, book shops and antiques next to cute little cafés.
HOW TO GET THERE
Tram 112 from Collins Street or tram 86 from Bourke Street.
