I'm sitting on a table with three other people. They know I am blogging and are starting to vent on bloggers: "Hahaha, I will start a blog right now and become rich just by posting selfies!"
„Do it…“, I am thinking fiercely. But I try to keep calm. I kinda see why it looks funny when a group of bloggers is more about looking for the perfect selfie-light and discussing about the perfect filter than really trying to get to know each other.
But dear all out there who cannot believe that discussions about shoes fitting to the blue tone of the pool are actual work: even taking selfies is a part of our job as a blogger. And just like in every other job, sometimes you have to be very detailed in your profession.
It’s a lot of work, and I’m sure you’ve read about the daily routines of a blogger on many other blogs. And as you know I also wrote about my blogger routine here.
At the end of the day, bloggers sell illusions. The illusion that our everyday lives are just about clothes, make up, travel and champagne events, and the illusion that we don’t really have to work to make this happen. So, all this chitchat about bloggers is really a big compliment- Apparently I’m doing a good job 🙂
