I love to go to airbrush tanning treatments: Before events, for photo-shoots or before a journey. There are a lot of occasions I want to have that healthy glow. You guys asked me a lot of times to write about the airbrush tanning treatment. So, here is what you were asking for – the answers to the most important questions about artificial tan from the airbrush:
WHAT'S HAPPENING DURING THE TREATMENT?
Usually spray tanning is a common word for artificial tan you didn't apply yourself. But to be more detailed spray tanning is happening in a tanning shower. Whereas airbrush tanning gets applied by someone on your skin. For both treatments you need to get undressed. Usually you get a single-use slip you can wear during applyment. During the spraying process you need to strike different poses. After applying you get rest time to dry.
GOOD TO KNOW
Before treatment you should shave arms and leg and peel your whole body.
In preperation for your appointment you should pick dark and lose clothes. That avoids stains on your clothes and skin.
After treatment the tan needs to soak in: Try to avoid to take a shower or wash your hands to get a nice result.
AND HOW LONG WILL I BE TANNED?
Like you might already know from the self tanning lotion you applied by yourself, the tan applied by an airbrush won't last forever. Try to avoid to use shower lotion all over your body and never ever use a peeling after tanning – then your tan might last for more or less seven days.
PROS
- Get tanned in a short time
- Natural results
CONS
- The costs of a treatment is 20-50 Euros
- Lasts for just seven days
